When we teamed up with the Wedding Guide 2021 magazine team we were thrilled with the colour palette we got to work together on. It’s something fresh, trendy and a lot darker than what we’ve worked on so far this year, and it looked phenomenal (if we say so ourselves).
Fields of Colour was in charge of all things floral and we met such fantastic vendors through this collaboration that we were so excited to have met and worked alongside. The shoot was styled at the incredible Abrialii (always exciting to experience a new venue) in Pretoria, where we set up alongside Rentals Village (who did all the hire, linen etc.) with Urban Poetry there to capture it all! We got to do a couple of different table set ups, the chapel and all the bouquets of course which was so nice to get back to after most of the 2020 Wedding Season has been postponed due to Covid-19.
We played with a huge variety of flowers – different warm hues and textures with Proteas, Amaranthus, Berries, Long Leafed Penny gum, Anthuriums, Cymbidiums, Gerberas, Fynbos, Slangbos, Pink Heather, Cluster Roses, Blushing Pink Roses, Hypericum Berries, Lisianthus and Pepper Bush.
The jaw-dropping cake was done by Dirty Peach and the bridesmaids dresses Pretty Me Couture, Hair and Makeup by Meraki by Mantoine, Jewellery by Marion Rehwinkel Jewellery and Wedding Dress by Bespoque by Natasha Bouma.
