One of the most beautifully simplistic weddings we’ve done to date, and our very first wedding at Kleine Rijke – Catia & Massimo absolutely blew everyone away.
Catia knew exactly what look she was after; all it took was one meeting with us and we had her vision in mind. Wild. Loose. Fluffy. Boho. Personal. Five words to best describe the aesthetic of the day. Catia & Massimo opted to collect all of their flowers for the wedding themselves (a great budget saver) and had the venue set it up for them on the day – Saturday, 16 November 2019.
With an incredible eye for detail, Catia selected incredible tiles all the way from Portugal and designed her own bunting to hang which looked phenomenal.
We went with blush tones of pinks, peach and white for all the florals, with a special request of adding in burgundy peonies into the bride’s bouquet, while keeping the five bridesmaid’s bouquets simple. We gorgeous soft button holes for the groomsmen that really popped against their navy suits and the groom’s grey suit, tied bunches of Penny gum down the aisle and had baskets with fresh petals ready to help celebrate the ‘I do’s’.
We filled the various bottles, jars and vases with Roses, Lisianthus, Pepper Bush, Gypsophila, Long Leaf Penny gum and Astilbe.
Catia & Massimo, thank you for entrusting us with your floral vision – it was an incredible honour!
Kleine Rijke is one of the most beautiful venues we’ve seen, and we cannot wait to do another wedding there, hopefully soon.
